Woohoo

As an experienced space traveler, having made 23 trips around the sun, some of which before I can even remember, I can say I learned quite a bit. And on this day of reflection that ended approximately 13 hours ago, I can say there are a few things I still like about the people around me and what not. Thanks to everyone that called and wished me a happy day. Thanks to all the gifts and cards, not excessively numerous, but extremely high in quality.

Why would anyone want a book on tape or cd? With the exception of Edgar Allen Poe read by Vincent Price and Basil Rathbone, they just don't have the look, feel, and smell of a book. The experience of reading will never be matched by listening to someone read a book, and it's just not worth the time you'd save.

So after that spicy wrap I ate, my toilet bowl was going to resemble a Jackson Pollock painting.
